When you look at today's musical artists and what they get up to on stage (Madonna anyone?) what happened to PJ's trousers was nothing compared to that. And the youth of today believe that the sixties was a liberal and free thinking period.
I booked to see him on that tour and Tom Jones was no consolation. But despite what it states in all his biblographies, he did do another UK tour a while after so I did get to see him live when I was a teenager.
