Hi Archie,

Welcome to the forum!
I'm sorry to hear your health is not too good.
I hope you didn't find this subject offending.
Is there still room for hope?

How about listening to "And The Sun Will Shine" by P.J. Proby?
Do you have the song? It's on the CD The Best Of The EMI Years 1961-1972.
It always gives me hope and lifts my spirits whenever I'm down.

Take Care,

Manja

Hi Archie,
Welcome! I started this topic off many months ago & got a mixed reaction. I probably should have thought more carefully before I posted the message as it started off as a joke. Most fans took it as a bit of fun & many sent in their favourite Proby songs for use on "the" day.One or two thought it was all in bad taste & I apologised to them.
Anyway Archie.....keep your pecker up!I hope & pray your treatment goes well & with all the technology at our disposal these days the chances are bright.Look forward to seeing some more of your postings in the future.
All the best,
Ron

We had PJ singing "Precious Lord" at Brian's funeral and there wasn't a dry eye but it also raised a smile as everone knew how much my wonderful, long suffering, husband had trailed the length and breadth of the country following my idol until he actually came to like and respect him!!

I now find myself listening to PJ's "What's Wrong With My World?" day in and day out as the words sum up my feelings exactly.

PJ's music has given me a lot of comfort in these last 3 months and I can't wait to see him on the 14th.

I went through a very intense stage of listening to "What's Wrong With My World" because it reflected exactly how I felt during extreme grief, but then to lift my spirits I would have to listen to "Somewhere" because it always gave me hope and courage to see things through.
PJ truly has a God given talent.

Manja and Ron - thanks for the good wishes. The people posting on this site seem a lot more 'civilised' than on others I have visited where whatever you say is wrong.
