Burntwood Wakes 60's Festival in Staffordshire on the 9th August was a fantastic event. One of the best organised outdoor pop shows I've ever attended.
P.J. came on stage at about 6.30 on a beautiful sunny Sunday evening...a vision in white! He was onstage for about 45 minutes or more & he knocked the crowd of about 2000 dead!!!The Feds backed him in their usual top class way & those gals onstage looked very sexy especially Sophie on saxophone.
All of the acts for this event which included The Searchers & Gerry & The Pacemakers were top class but P.J. is so different to any other act around and he went down a storm with an audience of real 60's folk........lots of people came in 60's clobber to make the atmosphere even better & the wine & champers were flowing the whole afternoon & evening.
Hope P.J. does this festival again next year!!!!
Ron

Hi everyone,
I forgot to add in my mini report of the Burntwood show how lovely it was to see Brian & Manja there doing as usual wonderful work for P.J.They are his rocks!!!!
Great too to see Margaret looking after the merchandising side of things & selling a fab selection of P.J. photo's & C.D's etc. to the general public.
Many thanks to you "The Three Probyteers".
Ron
