Hi matey's,
Just to let you know that tomorrow & the day after there are two birthdays on the Proby Team to be celebrated.On Friday,11th September Hannah will be blowing out ?? candles on her birthday cake.One day later on Saturday 12th September Manja's hubby Brian will also be raising a glass to another year gone by!
Both of these great people do wonderful work for P.J. so thanks a million you two & I wish you both the very best for the future & long may your association with P.J. continue.I for one am so grateful that you are around for him!!

Well, thankyou Hannah. I have to admit that I reached the age of the bus pass last year but I'm still in denial. Haven't claimed it yet!

Dear Hannah, Brian and Margaret!

You have all reached the age of the Very Wise ones, but I don't think any of you will use a bus pass. Brian has to wait another year for his bus pass as Holland doesn't give reduction on public transport till you're 65, the official pension date. I think their theory is if you can't afford the bus, go biking!

I remember when this tune first came out in the 60's, I visualised a little old man in a rocking chair in front of the fire after Sunday dinner, reading the paper, half asleep.
Who would have thought at 64 I would still be a long haired layabout, still travelling the world, still be very active and enjoy everything I do and even hang about with Proby.
I think I have to thank the great powers for still being able to do everything, and thank Manja for keeping me young and of course introducing me into the Proby bit, that in itself keep ya young!!
I would also like to thank y'all for your cards and best wishes.
And I would also like to take this opportunity to wish two lovely ladies and close friends, Hannah and Margaret, a VERY HAPPY AND HEALTHY birthday. May we all celebrate many more! I hope we can raise our glasses together as soon as possible.

Bless you Brian for your kind words. I remember that song coming out too. At very nearly 61 I feel younger than I did 10 years ago.
