hi Joep,
Yes! as you know it was "Watch Me Walk Away"...a great early Proby song. D.J. Brian Matthew always has been a great fan of P.J.'s & he regulary plays his music.
Ron
P.S. I love the Proby jukebox!

Hi Ron, yes I heard it on saturday I was at work we always have the radio on and I had just put my feet up with a brew when I heard him say James Marcus Smith, needless to say I nearly fell of my chair, it was a great story and so good to hear something different.
GEORGE.

Yet again another play from Brian Matthew today, "Somewhere". He also thanked PJ for the letter he had sent to him, thanking him for playing his records. I shall be emailing Brian with my thankyou again.

I have e-mailed "SOTS" to say thanks for regulary playing P.J. discs but asking why do they nearly always forget P.J.'s birthday!!
It's not that there aren't any requests because I know there are.Hopefully next year they will pay attention to the pop person's birthday list & include P.J.P!
Glad to say that some other radio shows did play Proby tracks around the time of his birthday. One DJ, Danny somebody or other, did kinda spoil things by asking what is P.J. doing these days? Get with it man!
Ron
